Synchronization and indicators

When logging in, the synchronization page looks like this: thumbnail_1000002640

When the initial synchronization is completed it looks like this: Screenshot_20250801_093510_Microbizz

Error symbols and what they mean:

Simple:

Ongoing calls are being handled. Server denied a certain action.

An error happened.

You are possibly out-of-date and needs to synchronize.

Can be due to no internet.

Synchronization permission had been manually declined by user Several can be shown at the same time

 Detailed:

A purple cloud with a yellow circle and the number 1.
This indicates that there is one “ongoing” call happening.

In most cases it appears for ~1 second after a manual action of the user, and disappears when the APP have received a response from the server.
Its used for users to “verify” that an action is handled.

If you click the icon it takes you to a page that shows you which call is currently ongoing.

Cloud with a purple/red circle with the number [x]
This indicates that there is calls that have failed (not accepted by the server).

When you click it, it takes you to a page that shows you all the errors that have failed.

You can click on the individual failed API-calls to get the exact API call and server error message.

Cloud with a red circle with a “!”
This indicates that its been more than 20 minutes since the last successful GetCheckin or full synchronization process.

This indication usually appears when the phone is lacking in internet connection and are not syncing.
It can be from having Flight Mode activated. Deactivated WIFI and/or mobile data.
Or just that the phone haven't been in an area/location that is supplying the phone with internet. (such as deep basements)

When clicking icon you get an message that lets the user know that the APP might be out of synk.

[Android only]
A yellow cloud with a yellow circle with a “!”
This indicates that the user have not approved the use of foreground service (synchronization) permissions.

Clicking the icon gives a text pop-up that explains why the icon is showing.

The user can remove the icon by either:

  1. Accepting the permissions when the pop-up happens

or

  1. going to the synchronization status page and press the “Start” button. By pressing this button the user accepts usage of foreground service permissions.

Most of these icons can be shown at the same time. Though certain icons “overrule” others.
Example: If Both the synk permissions has been rejected AND its been more than 20 minutes since last full synk - we are still only showing the “yellow!” icon, since this is (most likely) the case.
Since its obvious that the reason its been more than 20 minutes since last full synk, is because the permissions haven't been accepted/approved.
